Services for Schools Online Ordering System
Our service gives your school access to a network of high quality professional and accredited counsellors. Counselling is available to help staff who are having difficulties, either at work or at home.
"The quality of this service exceeded my expectations. My counsellor was exceptionally skilled in enabling me to share concerns. I couldn’t have asked for a more empathetic person."
Our service gives your staff access to a network of counsellors accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or an equivalent body.
Each member of staff is entitled to six counselling sessions per year. Staff can refer themselves by contacting the provider directly. They can contact the service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We offer group facilitation when required after serious incidents. We can also arrange management mediation through a network of professionally qualified personnel advisors based at East Sussex County Council.
All counsellors work from their own premises and offer daytime, evening and sometimes weekend appointments.
Our counselling service is provided by a company called PPC Worldwide.
You will need to confirm the name of your employer (East Sussex County Council) and the name of the department or school you work in.
PPC can then match you to a counsellor specialising in your needs and who is near either your work or home. Once you have given these details they will arrange for a counsellor to contact you.
For more details, see the Staff counselling service page.
The annual cost is 80p per pupil.
Make sure your staff are aware of the support available through the counselling service, in particular:
