Our service ensures that early and effective support is put in place for these vulnerable groups and that their progress is carefully monitored.

Service Details
Our service offers specialist assessment, training and advice for children with dyslexia or related literacy/numeracy and/or speech, language and communication needs. We help to build and maintain schools’ capacity to respond to the needs of these children and young people.
We adopt a flexible and responsive approach, offering intervention for the whole school, groups or individual children and their families.
We provide assessment, training, support and advice, and put in place a range of strategies and approaches to help children access the curriculum and make progress.
Our service includes:
- early identification/preventative work
- observation and diagnostic assessment for numeracy, literacy and speech, language and communication
- modelling/coaching
- transition meetings at each key stage
- support for SENCOs and new or acting headteachers
